My ice and water dispenser is not working. Wife had a repairman come out and he said the board is bad and it's $294 to fix it. I'm wondering if I can replace the board myself. But, there's two boards, connected with a harness. How do I know which one to replace?

Hi Bob,

Most likely the problem is a bad power board (#38 on the diagram).

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for FRG GLHS238ZDS3 | AppliancePartsPros.com

So can I simply unscrew the part and replace it? Do I have to ground myself to the refrigerator? Does the harness simply unplug from the board? Or how does that work?
Thanks for your help...
