ice chute door repair

Model Number: ksrs25fgwh02 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years

Can anyone help me? Do I need to remove the entire front panel for the ice and water dispenser in order to replace the ice chute flapper? If so , how to do it without doing further damage.
