Use a screwdriver to unlock the tubs at the bottom of the control panel. Slide the bottom out and down.

Gene. Hello Gene, The blocking it. I have Stainless Steel side by side model and the follwing is blocking it. Collar kit- black Part Number: AP3187757 made by GE Please help. Can I call you? Thanks, Avi. 480-252-5999

Avi,
I have the same problem with my refrigerator. Were you ever able to get the touch panel out by yourself? Do I need to disassemble the door or can the panel come out from the front. It appears that the Stainless Steel is blocking the touch panel from coming out.
