Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

The Ref is making high pitch noise in interval as if trying to start something...my guess is compressor and now the high temp alarm is coming on. The freezer and refrigerator both are cooling ok....just concering that somemthing is going to break, I had repleaced the control board about 4-5yrs back.

Any ideas??

My only suggestion is to be there and pin point where the sound is coming from. Possibly fan in the freezer, fan near the compressor or like you said when the compressor comes on. Water valve related as in ice maker or water dispenser operation.

Thanks for suggestions, what i hear is in back of the ref and it sounds like coil noise. I guess is the starter coil...
