Our ice maker does not let water in to make ice. What part do we need?:(

Locate the water valve on the back of the refrigerator (#10 on the diagram). Swap the wires between the dispenser and ice maker solenoids. Push the water dispenser lever on the door and see if the water coming into the ice maker.

If it does then the ice maker has to be replaced.

If it does not then the problem is a bad water valve.

- The part number for the ice maker is AP2984633

- The part number for the water valve is AP3103466
