I am replacing an evaporator motor using kit 482468. First, the instructions say to attach the mounting plate to the motor using the included screws. The actually fits over two threaded studs off the motor. No nuts are included in kit. No problem, hardware store item. My big problem is the hub in the kit doesn't fit the motor shaft !?! The shaft on the new motor is too big for the small hole in the hub. Is there another hub available ?? The instructions mention nothing about this. ( yes, I had to read the instructions!)
any help appreciated.....

We need the model number to provide most accurate advice and to verify the part number for the evaporator fan motor in your case.

The hub included in the kit must fit the motor shaft. If it does not then it is probably defective. People who sold it to you have to exchange it under the parts warranty.

I do not work for Appliance Parts Pros. You have to talk to the customer service.
