I have a Ge Monogram side by side that has been freezing my vegetables. I had a repairman come out yesterday morning and change a sensor. Seven dollar part, but two hundred dollar repair...still doing the same thing. Temperature seems to fluctuate mostly around 30 degree area. And the condensor is extremely hot. I gave it the 24 hr. adjustment period, still not working. Repair person said it may be the main board behind the digital control...seven hundred dollar quote... has any one had this problem? I found a few threads with similar questions but no answers...can anyone help out there?...I hate to keep paying for large repairs and then not see any results...I would rather change them out myself and save.
Thanks,
Kurt

You have refrigeration problems, measure the freezer temperature and post.

Thank you,

Seems like you have refrigeration problems, it's not normal for the condenser to be so hot. it's also possible your condensing fan is running slow. This would make the fridg run longer than normal.
Put a portable fan on it and see if the temperatures get near normal and the run time less.
