Default Do I get a new door?
Model Number: Gc3shexns   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: Less than 1 year

I bought the Whirlpool side by side GC3SHEXNS from an online outlet called USAppliance, an authorized dealer. Homedirectusa was the carrier who transported my fridge from MI to CA. Upon arrival and checking it, there was a ding on the right front door panel of the fridge. I made a note of it in the delivery sheet. Delivery guy said Whirlpool would give me a new fridge door. Is this right? There isn't any box available as it was white glove delivery so I doubt the whole fridge would be sent back. What usually happens in case like this? Will there be a problem for USAppliance or Whirlpool to have a guy come out and install a new right front door?

If not, must I accept someone fixing the ding because it won't be considered brand new?

Yeah, I'd go with what misterfixall said. It's pretty unlikely that Whirlpool would warranty the door that was damaged during transit from dealer to customer. Call USAppliance, they are the ones who should take care of it.
