If you have a water filter, it may need changing because some are designed to bypass to the water tray when blocked.

The tray is usually accessible from the front behind the removable kick panel. You may also be able to reach it from the back after removing the cardboard cover. I wouldn't try to take it out, just soak it up with a towel or dip it out with a cup.
