The ice maker just stopped working. It seems to work in every aspect except to fill itself up after dumping the ice. I manually filled it and it dumped the ice and did not refill. I tested the water valve by swapping the electrical connector from the door water valve, the water valve worked when activated by the door switch. I put all back together, and need to know what controls the icemaker water valve operation. Any advice would be appreciated.

Some icemakers don't have replaceable parts see if you can look up your ice maker part number and see if your's is.
