I've got a Kenmore Elite side-by-side. The freezer works great - too great! Ice cream is a solid block. It seems that the freezer motor/fan runs constantly. The defrost is working just fine, except it's so cold that the defrosted water freezes in the drain and then fills the bottom of the compartment as a block of ice, so I clear it out about once a week.

I've already replaced the main control board and the RC thermistor. Even though the diagnostics show "1" for the FC thermistor, I'm going to try replacing it next. Any other ideas?
