Defrost Switch
Model Number: ETT17JMWR2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Defroster timer #548140 has 2 leads connected to positions 1 BK and 3 W. Replacement part #482493 has 1 lead to be connected to either post. Connecting the motor lead to only 1 post did nothing... refer did not power up. Can I make a jumper to allow connecting to both terminals without damage? Also am told the refer model number did not come up with 2 T's.
