I realize you've answered this question 1000 times, but here it is again:

Kitchen Aid Model# KSRS25QDWH01 refrigerator; water dispensor works fine.

ice maker started making a clicking or tapping sound, then quit and no more ice. It doesn't make any sound or movement now.

I cleaned out the plastic tube that directs the water down to the ice maker and it had frozen ice in it, but i don't know if that happened before or after the unit stopped working.

I'm pretty sure my frig doesn't have a water filter.

I replaced the entire ice maker about 3 years ago, at least i think it was the entire unit

thanks for your help

The ice blocking your fill tube is caused by a leaky water inlet valve. It will happen again but you can see if that caused your ice maker to stop by filling your ice mold and see if it will fill after if freezes and dumps the ice.

after clearing the tube, no water comes down; and the ice maker itself makes no noise or seems like it is operational; the water dispenser works fine however.....

i put water in the ice maker, it froze, but no sound or movement of any kind to dispense any ice into the bucket; like i said, no water seems to be pumping up to the icemaker and the ice maker doesn't sound like the motor is working at all...

when it quit working altogether, there was a clicking sound about every 10 seconds and no ice (tube may have been frozen at that time, but i'm not sure)...then the clicking stopped after about 12 hrs....since then nothing

water dispenser works fine
