Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

I have a whirlpool Refridgerator and the Icemaker is not working. I have replaced the water valve thinking that it was not working. Even with the brand new watervalve its still not calling for water, I have checked for voltage and power is there, but is still not filling up. can someone please help me I really would appreciate it very much. Curtis

Look in the tube going to the icemaker to see if it is clogged with ice. If so remove all the ice. The water valve causes this problem but since you have already replaced the water valve the problem will be fixed.

If the tube is not filled with ice remove the cover off the front of the icemaker and you should see test points marked with letters. This page will describe how to use these test points to determine the problem Whirlpool Icemaker Repair Guide
