No water on door
Model Number: hsm25gfrsa Brand: Hotpoint Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a problem with the water selection on the door of my fridge. The crushed ice selection works as does the cube ice however the water does not. I have confirmed that the water is on and the solenoid works by disconnecting the line running up to the door and pushing the lever, water will flow. Is there another switch in the door that is not allowing the water to flow out the nozzel and if so how do I get to it?

more than likely you probably have a line in the freezer door that is frozen .. sometimes moisture gets in the door and gets the insulation wet which allows the line to freeze .. you can test this theory by giving the freezer door time to thaw and see if that works...
