Icemaker just stopped making cubes. I checked and the icemaker has power. But the mold heater does not ever get hot to release the cubes. It is not getting powered on. Did the test to see if current was getting to the heater, and 0. Can it be the thermostat causing the problem? Right now there is ice in the mold and the fingers are trying to push it out and since the mold heater is not switching on the cubes are frozen and not being heated to release from mold. You can hear the motor trying to release the cubes and not able to. Is there any way to power up the mold heater to see if it works? Or to ohm it? Thank you, for any help you can give me.
