I am in the process of replacing the water valve piece at the botom of my refrigerator due to damage. I requested a new valve, to find that the old valve unit that I have (Invensys - #240531101) has been discontinued. The new one that I received from Appliance Parts Pros is the replacement part model number (241734301). All was going well while replacing when I stumbled over the issue of the plastic water lines inside the refrigerator aren't fitting in the new unit. The old unit had a cap that attached these lines to the unit. The new unit looks as thought the lines need to slide in. Can you please let me know what I need to do to get this fixed? Am I missing something. Thanks!!

Cut the ends of your existing lines off smooth and insert them into the new valve.
