We moved our refrigerator on a dolly from kitchen to garage, about 20 feet and down 1 step. Plugged it in, lights come on, fan runs and compressor seems to run but it doesn't cool or freeze. Unplugged for about 12 hours, still the same. Checked the underside for damage, cleaned out dust. It is 10 years old and worked just fine before we moved it. Any thoughts?

Can you verify if it does run?

What is the complete model number of the refrigerator?

Gene.

It seems like it does run, the fan is blowing air into freezer, lights work, seems like the compressor is running too. It is a whirlpool model number GD5SHG.

How the compressor feels on touch? Does it vibrate? How warm is it?

The model number you posted is incomplete. Verify and repost it please.

Gene.
