The ice chute door is stuck open; needless to say, there is frost all inside my freezer. Had to tape opening as a short fix, to stop ingress of warm air. How do I get into the area where the ice-door mechanism is located for closer inspection? I was looking for a repair manual, without luck.

I live in Hawaii, and we have only one repair service company in my area, which failed miserably when trying to fix a brand new dishwasher, wanting to change the wiring harness, when later I discovered that nothing was wrong with the appliance. The contractor had not provided the correct space for the appliance in question, hence it was restricted. Hence, I am forced to fix this myself.

Any detailed instruction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
