The water dispenser in the door of the fridge has started to drip. It doesn't do it every time, but when it does, it starts dripping about 5 to 10 seconds after it finishes dispensing and then it will drip continuously until it is corrected by dispensing again and shutting off again, sometimes 2 or 3 times. It's not a new install and I haven't replaced the filter recently. I tried letting it run for a while in case air got into the system but it didn't help. I don't think my water pressure has changed. Is there a part for this that can be replaced by me?

The water inlet valve is sticking sometime because of sediment or wear. http://http://www.appliancepartspros.com/PartImage.aspx?imgid=Z3BqLjBfbXNfNzcxOTgzNC9MUFcvc290b2hwdHJhcC8%3d

thanks! Is that a part that I can replace myself without making it a research project? Where is it located, right behind the dispenser?

It's on the back where the water supply comes in. To verify the dripping you can disconnect the line coming out of the valve and see if it drips when you try the water dispenser.

It's not hard to replace.
