Good morning, I have a GE Model GSS20IEMB. It is cold on the bottom of both compartments but stays warm at the top, the top of the freezer reads 60 degrees when the bottom reads 20 degrees. I replace the evaporator fan motor in the back part # AP3191003 and this didn't help. I has been mentioned in previous post to reset the control pannel. How do I do this if it is my next step.

If the fan is running, check the evaporator coil behind the back cover inside the freezer. It may be iced over blocking the flow of air indicting defrost system failure.

This coil is iced over what can be done for this?

You can melt the ice with a hairdryer to give you time to diagnose and replace part.

check defrost heater, defrost thermostat-Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.com
Heater is part 230 in diagram 3. Defrost thermostat is part 240
