Will it cut off when you turn the freezer control warmer? If Yes. Is it getting to the set temp or is it too warm?
If it doesn't cut off before it gets to the off position then the cold control is bad if the freezer is cold enough. If the freezer isn't cold enough you probably have a defrost problem or both fans are not running.

I assume you have checked for dust on the coils under or behind refrigerator and overheating is not an issue.Check the freezer coil by removing the cover ( usually the back inside wall near the bottom).
It should be evenly frosted from top to bottom. If ice is forming only near the tpo , you are probably low on freon. Hope this helps, John
