I have a GE Side by Side Refrigerator (Model GSH25JFTACC) and my ice will no longer dispense whole (it is always crushed). My ice also is melting an refreezing. I have already defrosted the freezer. The Crushed/Cubed Solenoid does not appear to be actuating. What Parts do I need to replace?

Open the freezer door. Remove the screws holding the motor and solenoid cover. Pull the cover out and remove the wires from the solenoid. Tape in the door switch. Check for 120 VAC to the solenoid while the ice dispenser calls for cubed and crushed ice. Post the results.
