Model Number: 532 Brand: Sub Zero Age: More than 10 years
Sub-Zero model #532 (manufactured Aug. 1989) side-by-side fridge/freezer. I constantly have condensation inside the fridge (moisture on the walls -especially the center wall shared with the freezer, and on all the food containers, but no such problems with the freezer) and now I have found mold growing in the corners, in cracks and crevices, on the underside of shelves, even on the paper labels on jars! The fridge is cooling fine (and the freezer works fine), how do I prevent condensation? The door seal on the fridge was replaced in July 2007 as well as the evaporator in the fridge. Then the evaporator fan motor was replaced in Jan. 2008 - then a week later some freon gas was added to the system to raise the gas pressure (raised to 125 upper, 22 lower). The fridge cools sufficiently but there is condensation constantly.
Thanks for any suggestions. Ads By Google Related Models |
