Good Day All,

Working on a Frigidaire FRT21HR6A with a compressor problem. Already Replaced the run capacitor and start relay without results. Problem still is the compressor does not stay on. Upon the initial power-up - compressor buzzes/runs louder than usual and shuts off after 10-15 secs. The cycle will continue if left on but no start. The terms on the compressor all seems the same - pegging a 1 ohm setting but all in the 1.5 range on a 10 ohm meter.

Thanks in advance for the opinions.

Here are your parts

Your model number is short a few digits, The following wiring diagram is for a HR6AW3. They are probably all the same in this series.

Here is info on checking the compressor.

I have not used an analogue meter in over 30 years but it does sound like the compressor is shorted internally but that is just a guess.
