my problem is like so many others who have posted problems with the icemakers on whirlpool and kitchenaid side by side refigerators, no water is flowing from the inline valve to the icemaker. the optics seem to be OK according to a repair manual. the redlight inside the freezer blinks twice in a row, skips one second, then repeats the pattern. when I close the icemaker door the light is steady.

I have already replaced the inline valve, however the waterline from the valve only allows water to flow to the chilled water area in the door and not to the icemaker. I have blew through the water line and my wife can feel the air coming in above the ice maker, however no water flows through the line up the back of the refigerator to the icemaker, in fact, I cannot get any water out of the icemaker side of the valve.
Please suggest the next step to solve this problem. Thank you
