Side by side unit. last week everything seemed to work fine 'til thursday, when I noticed my lemonade was not nearly as cold as usual. freezer was set at near max, refer at 5 ( of 11 ). Turned refer to max. I cleaned everything as well as I could, 'tho there wasn't a lot of dust. Unplugged for 2 hours. compressor and fans working. took relay off comp per youtube vid, and no rattle. Since ( one week later ), freezer has been at 20 degrees, refer at 50 top shelf, 40 at bottom. Runs long, but not constantly. unit may be 16 years old. Is it a lost cause ? Funds are way low, but don't want to throw $$ away trying to fix it.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
