Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

My refrigerator has started making an intermittent noise which happens about every 2-3 minutes. This is a freezer on bottom model but the noise seems to be coming from the refrigerator top part. It sounds like a spinning fan that is slowing down and then the noise disappears. The refrigerator and freezer both seem to be working fine but the noise is driving me crazy!

Check the evaporator fan. It may be going bad and bearing noise is what you are hearing
