Been getting water leaking from the freezer (underneath of the Air Tower) that drips down into the back of the fridge. Quite messy. A couple times a day, it will drip several ounces at a time, then be dry for several hours, then drip like crazy again. I use about 3 towells a day to lay in the back and try to soak up all the water.

Any suggestions on what to look at? Any help is much appreciated.

Your drain tube must be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

is there a special technique of getting to the back of the fridge without messing up the copper wire coming in to the ice maker? Do I need to turn off the water from the water line and disconnect it at the freezer?

The drain is in the freezer. You may have to remove the back cover or you may be able to see it at the bottom of the freezer and not have to remove the cover. What you're looking for is a trough full of ice that you need to get out by melting it. This will expose the drain hole.

okay, I did locate the drain in the freezer and it was iced over. I chipped out all the ice but wasn't able to get around to getting to the bottom drain just yet. Not sure how I will get air to blow out the drains.

Now, seems like I added another problem cause when I put my icemaker back on, it seems to be making ice incredibly slower. Like the bar that you push down to make it make ice is someone turning up and locking in the up (off position). ?????

You shouldn't have to worry about the other end of the drain if you can blow through the freezer end of it. Try a turkey baster or tube you find in your junk drawer or a straw. You can find something.

Did the ice maker arm get bent. When it goes high enough it catches. That's how you cut it off. It shouldn't go that high normally.

okay, I think I need to pour more hot water thru the drain in the top and then take a straw or something and blow to make sure its clear.

On the ice maker, I just took it off and put it back on, I can't imagine I bent something...

after removing all the ice, squirting boiling hot water into the top drain hole finally did its job and the drain seems to be working great. Never had to access the bottom drain.

After reinstalling the ice maker, its still making ice but very slowly, and its still kicking up the on/off arm, its almost like its trying to turn itself off or something but not turning up to the full off position. I press the arm all the way down toward the ice collector box, open the fridge about 10 minutes later and the arm is up about 80% towards the off/up position.

It sound like the ice maker is getting stuck during the dump cycle. May be worn or broken gear on the motor etc. Using the diagram you may be able to inspect the parts.
