Hello. I just got this beautiful fridge in, but the compressor comes on a few moments then soft click after a minute and zilcho. The rest of everything works apparently, but not the compressor.
So where do I begin the diagnosis of this thing? I have doubts the compressor is bad because this thing looks like new and isn't even dusty except for the dirt on my truck which is considerable, but i know that didn't cause the problems.
Maybe I'm just lazy but I'm sure there's a diagnosis progression of logic to check..Any ideas where to start? i still have it on the truck, but that's only temporary..

I'm just wondering what to check first, second, third, etc. I have an ohmmeter so that's not a problem. The problem is knowing where to check.. Compressor starter? Overload perhaps? a relay?
I just need to get rolling so I can either get this thing moved so i can work or rip it apart for scrap or something.. Sitting on the truck isn't helping matters. ;)
