My ice maker will make one batch of ice, which will melt after it has been dumped. The water seems to be running continuosly and it will not make any more ice after the first batch.

When does it make this one batch of ice? Is it something you do to get it started? While the water is running continuously where does it go? Is that what's melting the one batch of ice? How cold is the freezer? Does the ice mold refill with water after it dumps the ice?
