Model Number: frs26znhw1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
Freezer will go through like a cycle of warming up then cooling back down. This lets things like ice cream melt a little then refreeze. It does not happen consistantly. Could this be from a bad freezer temp control, refrigerator temp control, or the freezer fan switch? This is my father-in-law's frig and he seems to think when he giggles the fan door switch it causes the fan to go on and off.
If it is the freezer temp control, where is this control located? Ads By Google Related Models |

The fan not running at times could be the problem and the door switch does cut it off when door is opened. If the connections are loose or the switch bad that could be the problem.
If the compressor is cutting off and the freezer hasn't reached the proper temp it could be the freezer temp control. |
