Refrigerator works ok , but the display shows a blinking code and I cannot change icemaker settings or temps. the display shows 88 82 with the segment blinking. The problem occurs after a power failure and usually resets , but it has not reset after 4 days. any suggestions?

I found the solution to my problem at Just Answer. The tech sent me GE information on my refrigerator and all the questions I had were answered. It cost me $34.00 , but it was worth alot more than that in time saved.
GE was no help at all and told me to call a repairman. I don't think that I can recommend GE products to anyone after that response. I hope this helps anyone with a technical problem.
