Howdy - Gotta Kitchenaid side by side that wasn't cooling on the frig side. Freezer was fine. Diagnostics pointed to a faulty evaporator fan, which i replaced after confirming the impedance was out of spec.

Still waiting for the unit to cool down, but have noticed that the fan is being triggered by a relay in the upper section, which is cycling several times a minute. Not sure if this is indicative of a faulty control board or thermistor or something else?

Any insights? Thanks in advance for your help....

Thermistor would not cause a failure like this. I would replace the control board AP3962998

thanks Richappy - i was guessing the control board in the upper unit - AP4411082 - any chance that i may need to replace that too?

Yes, you are right, missed that board. The other board acts as an interface to the driver board that contains the relays, AP4411082 probably bad.
