Model Number: DRS2662AW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
The supply tube into my ice-maker freezes and the pressure builds in the water line and leaks at the plastic tube where it goes through the fridge wall. When I thaw the tube the ice-maker works fine until it freezes again.
According to the manual I have, it could be the valve is leaking by and this is what I suspect. The problem is, I have a valve before and after the filter. Both are a double valve but do not have the same part number. If they were inter-changable I would just replace the one before the filter and if it still froze-up I would swap them, but I don't think they are inter-changable and I don't want to buy both valves if I don't need to. How can I tell which valve is the culprit? Thank you, Jerry Ads By Google Related Models |
