Heater failed in original icemaker and it was replaced with an aftermarket one ~ 1year ago. Has worked fine but now freezes at the fill tube cup every other day. Appears to be putting in too much water as the icemaker jams periodically as well. I've turned down the freezer but no help.

Can you adjust the water volume dispersed in these icemakers? Any other ideas?

Also, indoor despenser for icemaker quit operating - on the water side it works and a "click" is heard when the water is activated - I hear no click when icemaker side is depressed -- possible switch?

Is there a replaceable activation switch?

How do you access the dispenser ? From insid below ice bin or through the front dipenser panel?

Thanks for any help
