Have recently purchased this fridge. Find the refrigerator section was not cooling to safe levels. Freezer fine. Took fridge temperature control unit off the rear wall of the fridge. This is only a manual control of cool air coming down from a single cooling unit housed in the freezer section above.
This exposed the thermostat sensor screwed to back wall of the fridge.
When I leave this control unit out the fridge cools much better.

The cold air comes down via two ducts. One directly below the fan in the freezer section which drops into a draining draw which is connected to a drain pipe to an evap. tray underneath the fridge. Most of the cold air can be detected coming down via this duct. The other duct drops air directly down into the fridge section and into this manual control unit. It seems to have very little cold air coming down it although it is the duct feeding into the manual temp. control unit.
To obtain the reasonable cooling in the fridge area the actual thermostat has to be turned up the maximum.
Long story.
Can you shed any light on what I should do?
Also can you date the fridge for me should there be any question of re-gassing.
