No water to icemaker

No water to icemaker

Model Number: TFX22CR XF BB Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years

I have water to my water in the door dispenser but not to my icemaker, I have checked the water lines to the Water inlet valve and on the water to the door side, there is water but on the other side for which I assume is for the icemaker there is no water coming to the line (from the valve) leading to the icemaker. Does this mean for certain that the Water Inlet Valve is not functioning correctly??
