All of a sudden neither freezer nor fridge are cooling. The unit makes a buzzing sound like something wants to turn on but no such luck. Seems like everything else is working but the cooling cycle. All fans work. Compressor is hot to the touch when plugged in for while. Pipes to/from the compressor seem to be at room temp. Any help will be appreciated.

I would replace the compressor start device AP3737992 Make sure you plug in the run capacitor to it.

Just replaced both the capacitor and the start device. I still get the clicking every 2 minutes for about 10 seconds. I'll leave it on for an hour and check. Not raising my hopes. Is there a way to bypass the start device and check the compressor if its working?

Seems like it's drawing 9-12 amps, then the overload is dropping out. Seems like the compressor is mechanically locked up, or the start winding is burnt.
Time for a new fridg.
