I cannot find info on a EGSS0, please check your model number. There is info on EGSS1 through 5. refridgerator section not cold. freezer section cold but not at the top. i think from opening and closing the door. pulled off the back panel to expose the condenser. it was loaded with ice. Do you mean the evaporator coils that are inside the freezer? The condenser coils are under the unit near the compressor. repair man came over and he went right to the thermostat. does this sound right? Do you mean the defrost thermostat that is clipped to the evaporator coils? It does sound like a defrost problem and an open defrost thermostat could cause the defrost to not work. Also was the evaporator fan running? Here is a good link to basic fridge repair/troubleshooting. http://www.applianceaid.com/frig.html |
