I have an amana bottom freezer, and the compresser started clicking on and then off, and was very hot!
I was told you could put a 3n1 starter on it and it may start and it may keep running.
I put on the 3n1 and it started and ran for about a month, now I am told that there is a reason that the first starter-relay quit and you need to find that problem first.
Sounds logical to me but what causes would I look for that would cause the starter to burn out ???
