I can never find this model no. on any parts sites, the freezer motor stopped a couple weeks ago and I found ice in the bottom of the compartment - took the freezer floor out and melted the ice out of the compartment, put it back together and last night at 3 am. it started making a terrible noise, the fan was hitting ice again. So I pulled the fan out and melted the water out of the compartment. Probably a cup or two of water. I cleaned the water drip tray a couple weeks ago and I don't think any water is getting to it - so is the drain tube frozen up too. Can I snake it or put hot water into the freezer fan compartment to un-thaw it. Since the initial freeze up it seems like I am running the controls a lot higher to get the refrigerator cold.

Use a turkey baster and hot water to thaw the drain.

Yes. It's a tube, a little smaller in diameter than a pencil. Usually, they're made of a stiff rubberized plastic.
