My ice maker makes ice just fine, though it will not dispense the ice. It dispenses water just fine. I have checked all the obvious problems per the svc manual with no success, and I have checked the motor out - it works fine and replaced the celenoid. Still it will not dispense ice! Now what??

Does the auger turn or is it slipping on the shaft? If it's turning is the ice jammed in the tunnel? Is the door opening when you depress the ice lever?

The auger does not turn and there is no ice jammed on it as I have removed all the ice several times now and still no action from the auger. It makes ice just fine though! The door opens when you push on the paddle outside, yet no ice, and I notice the light by the exterion paddle/door dims when I push in on the paddle.

The motor is supposed to turn the augur through the motor shaft which engages the augur. With the ice bin removed you will be able to see it turning or slipping on the motor shaft. How did you determine that motor was good.

I took the motor out and hooked it up to a wall socket and it worked okay.
