Smile Installed Hard start kit on refrig
Model Number: ED25RFXW01   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

My refrig stopped cooling and started clicking. I determined it was the started relay and purchased and installed a Hard Start kit and it is now cooling as it should.
However, I had a refrig repair man tell me that installing this kit would damage my refrig compressor. Based on this info I purchased from your company the original replacement part and plan to install it when it arrives in 5 or so days.
Qusetion - will the hard start kit that I installed hurt my refrig, or am I being overly cautious?
