Model Number: FRS26R4CW1   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years   
Noticed Ice In Freezer Melting And Pulled Out Fridge To Take A Look, Compressor Is Trying To Kick In But After A Few Seconds Just Kicks Off Then In 5-10 Minutes It Tries Again . Unpluged Unit For Fear Of Burning Somthing Up . After 30 Minutes Plugged Back Up And Compressor Kicked In And Cooled Ref And Freezer Then Kicked Out And Started Same Thing Again

Sounds like compressor or fan motor is heating up and going off on overload. When it cool down it will start up again until it heats up. Is the condensing motor and coil clean? Is the condensing motor running?
