The interior light on my old Roper refrig is no longer lighting, and replacing the second burned-out bulb didn't fix the problem (both new bulbs light in a lamp). Forum posts say probably the switch, and part number I found is AP2967092. Although most of the postings say use a flat-blade screwdriver to pop this piece out, this model looks like it has a screw going up from the underside of the panel. So, do I need to unscrew the panel?

Also, if this doesn't fix the problem, what's the next step? The light fixtures and wiring themselves? Are these parallel or series, and how hard is it to replace them?

Thanks for any help.
