ice maker--too much water!
Model Number: SXD25S2W Brand: Amana Age: More than 10 years
Ice maker overfills ice tray after cubes are ejected. Water continues to flow into tray and flows all over inside the freezer. I took the water valve out and applied 120v to the ice maker side of it while the water line was still attached and it opened and closed just like it should. Is there a separate switch that controls the flow of current to the water valve that may be bad or will I have to replace the entire ice maker?
