For some unknown reason a glass fuse blew out. The fuse is on a pcb which is sodered to the circuit board. I would like to replace the circuit board,n when I need to know what caused the fuse to blow. What is to prevent it from happening again. The curcuit board is about $200, to replace just because if a fuse going bad.
Can anyone help??

I think the major difference is the size of the unit. http://appliancedigest.c...rigerator-service-manualYou have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer. This is a fairly complex piece of gear so it may be best to get a pro in. Make sure they have experience with similar LG's. If was troubleshooting I would replace the fuse and see what happens. I would do this with the fan motors disconnected as this power supply provides the DC to drive and this would at least eliminate them as the cause. Page 28 shows what this supply runs. |
