Need to narrow down a part. The ice maker stopped working.

Update: I ordered and replaced the motor but it did not solve the problem.

When I press a glass into it, it makes a humming sound and then it stops. The motor is not turning and, therefore, no ice being crushed or disbursed.

I've looked up the parts and noted two possible problems, either the motor is bad or the circuit board is. (Since I ordered the motor and did not solve the proble could it be something other than the circuit boards?

How do I check to ensure which is bad?
