Default Icemaker Problem
Model Number: 106.50264992   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 5 - 10 years

Icemaker tray fills but appears to be overfilling, fill tube and fill cup are also freezing up. Completely defrosted unit to melt ice, restarted and appeared to fill normally and produce a batch of ice on first cycle. Unfortunately, I soon noticed fill tube and water cup to be freezing again and noticed icicles and water dripping off fill cup into ice bucket creating ice mass in bucket. Appear to getting normal water flow from water dispenser in door. Suspect fill valve is the problem, but am looking for advice before proceeding.

Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. Ordered new valve from AppliancePartsPro, installed (easy, good instructions), and it's working properly again.
